medorpg
I live in a big headache for now like 3 days because of this I'm a web designer and normally I have a big fonts collection that I'm using it on Windows perfectly since ages After switching to Mac I installed these fonts, Suddenly all my system is screwed later I used Font Book to resolve duplicates and found errors with some fonts so I had to delete them and then the system is unusable because no matter fonts I restore some fonts wont get back to the same Why Mac handle fonts so differently ? How to install fonts correctly so no mistakes happens ? cause now really I will have to reinstall the whole system with all my apps and customizations 'unless you have a solution' Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/244862-are-windows-fonts-differs-from-mac-fonts/ Share on other sites
O and A
This site should help you understand some of the differences and simlarities http://www.asy.com/fonts.htm In my experience it is best to have a 3rd party font manager in OS X. This helps you resolve issues with missing pieces for fonts, invalid fonts, and also loading fonts when you need them. Since having all the fonts loaded all the tiem can slow your computer down. Especially when booting up and launching applications.
