danerd100
Hi everyone, I am trying to install on my friend's Toshiba Satellite m645 with an H55 chipset. When I attempt to load the disk (which works on my desktop) with no kernel flags, the apple logo appears for a split second and restarts. If I use -v then it begins the kextload process (With the large font) but I don't get to the next part (with the small font) Any suggestions as how to solve this problem?? Thanks in advance, Dan Drews Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/244703-apple-logo-shows-up-and-disappears/ Share on other sites

mathq
Maybe you could try with other kernels, such as legacy_kernel, mach_kernel, mach_modbin, mach_qoopz, mach_pcj, chocolate_kernel, etc. I fixed a lot of that kind of issue with mach_qoopz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/244703-apple-logo-shows-up-and-disappears/#findComment-1630065 Share on other sites
