Without the details of your system and existing hard drive partitions there is no specific advice.

 

However Carbon Copy Cloner is your friend. Hard drives are cheap. Clone your install off to another drive and then boot to that clone. Your options at this point are many. Without knowing your existing configuration I can not advise past this point.

Thank you for the suggestion. Here is the partition layout of my pc

 

Drive C - Primary, NTFS - 30 GB (Host: WinXP)

Drive D - Primary, HFS+ - 20 GB (Host: Mac OSX 10.6.3)

Drive E - Extended, Logical, NTFS - 20 GB

Drive F - Extended, Logical, NTFS - 80 GB

 

Kindly let me know what other information you need. I will try the Carbon Copy cloner in the meanwhile.
