slavo234
I has got my EN9600Gt working by EFI string using Osx86 Tools (1024mb/VGA-DVI). After reboot my video started working (top panel become transparent and some effects added to dashboard) but i when i tried to change resolution to my 1440x900 i got blue screen. When i rebooted i have already changed resolution and forget it to this time. Well, today i tried to launch fullscreen game and just got black screen with in-game sounds. Please help. neil43
With 10.6.4, 10.6.5 and 10.6.6 you do not need EFI strings for GF 9600 GT cards. Use a late version of Chameleon and GraphicsEnalbler = Yes in com.apple.Boot.plist and your home free (no tricks required). I have three versions of this card and they run well fully accelerated. I only thing that is see in profiler the 1 GB is reported as 512 MB. GeForce 9600 GT: Chipset Model: GeForce 9600 GT Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0622 Revision ID: 0x00a1 Displays: VL2418W: Resolution: 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported HSG1075: Resolution: 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Mirror: Off Online: Yes Rotation: Supported Television: Yes have fun neil Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/244342-en9600gt-1gb-problem/#findComment-1626679 Share on other sites
