Hello,

i was using an old 19" Monitor (vga plug) on my mac os x 86 box, but i recently got a new monitor, which only supports hdmi in.

i used a retail installation, chameleon (some later release)and few necessary kexts for my setup and the pc runs rock stable.

the GTS250 is a sparkle with 1024mb and dvi+hdmi out. device id is 0x0615.

i used osx86tools to generated EFI strings with custom NVCAP, but it doesnt let me use at least the dvi out.

one thing i noticed is: the com.apple.Boot.plist in the extra directory has a different divice properties-string than the one in Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist.

i tried to update the string in the Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist, but it seems like it gets overwritten every boot.

any help is highly appreciated!

thanks in advance :(

I am having the same issue. I have the MSI version, which only has DVI output, but when used with a DVI to HDMI cable or adapter the monitor gets no video. When I connect an old monitor with DVI the system sees everything just fine.

Anyone know of a fix for this issue. I had found a couple sites and tried things like NVEnabler64.kext. But to no avail.

Also, thanks everyone for such a great site.
