I have my Dell D630 up and going. Except for 1 slight issue.

I have to connect and external monitor.

IF I remove the graphics kext files the internal monitor works but is locked at 1024x768.

IF I connect and external and leave the kext files video is perfect on the external. Currently running at 1680x1050.

IF I FN F8 to change between external and internal it garbles the image on both screens and I have to hard reset.

Anyone know of a way to get the internal lcd working with the drivers and work at its native 1280x800 res.

Running Intel X3100 video.

Also when I screen shot, it is all black.

Thanks...

H

yes it does... look at this post (i posted this up there)

all the way to the bottom... it says

"GMA3100 don't works, no resolution change, no QE/CI."

so that answers the question, right?
