olav
After installing the alternate AC97 kext the sound worked on my lappie but with glitches sometimes. I then installed JackPilot, created an Aggregate Device for the input and output in the Audio Midi setup, and increased the buffer for core audio to 1024 samples and now it is perfect! I also had problems with firewire audio and for this one the glitches disappeared when I lowered the number of samples to 128. olav
Yeah, it's a program that allows you to route audio between programs, and allows you to adjust the buffer of the core audio driver. Here it is: JackPilot It´s free and there is a manual also, the first step for the intel macs and hackintosh computers is to create an aggregate device in the audio midi setup (utilities in osx), and then you choose this device in the jackpilot settings and adjust the buffer value.
