I tried doing it by flashdrive but since my flashdrive is formatted to FAT (so that my secondary computer can read it), it cannot be read my OSX. If I format my flashdrive to Mac OS extended, it can be read my OSX but not by my secondary computer. OS X reads and writes FAT/FAT32 just fine.
