Ok,

I recently upgraded my hardware and bought.

-3.0ghz intel cpu sse3 enabled.

-Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe

-Chaintech GeForce 6600 Sli Video Card.

I have everything working great. My Ethernet on the board doesn't work...but thats ok, because I have a spare realtek card installed anyway. Onboard audio is great.

The only problem I am having now is that my video resolution CANNOT be greater than 800x600. I tried isntalling the MacVidia drivers 4-5 times, but no luck.

Everytime i install the driver, OS X refuses to boot. I get to the gray apple loading screen and it wont go past that.

This is the video card I purchased.

Any help would be appreciated. I am so close to having ti working fine...I just need to figure out whats up with this.

Thanks for any help.

P.S....Im not good with the terminal or anything and quite the noob - so go easy on me

thanks.

When you boot, the screen turns black and then in a few seconds you get the gray apple loading screen.

As soon as the screen turns black, start tapping the F8 key to get a command prompt.

At the prompt, enter a -v to turn on verbose mode and look for errors.
