Epic1Hit Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Hi im new to mhackintosh and would really want to install on my PC. here are the specs cooler master haf 912 case with 6 fans 4 red LED got it new 2 days ago MSI GTX 465 video card DDR 2 6 gigs ram total 2x2 and 2x1 "i do know i need 4gigs of ram to install OSX" Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR 1.1 esata 7200 RPM 200gig hard drive "going to install osx on" esata 7200 RPM 500gig "windows 7 pro 64bit" i would like to install OSX on my 200gig HDD and dual boot with my windows 7 500 HDD. if someone can show me a tut that i can install OSX on the MOBO i have, that would be great and another tut on dual booting. =D Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/242484-is-this-good-for-mac-osx/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your motherboard is among the most compatible motherboards for OS X, it should be a walk in the park. You'll need to get to at least 10.6.5 and then install the latest nvidia drivers to get support for your video card. Use Chameleon 2.0 RC5. It doesn't matter what video card you have, the drivers are universal (see for yourself, click 'search' then click 'supported products'). They'll even say "Quadro drivers" no matter which product that has a 10.6.6 download you select.
