nightfever
I'm trying to install Windows 7 on my 1st gen MacBook Air using this tutorial http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-31012_7-20020513-10355804.html Tried with a 4GB Corsair Flash Voyager - rEFIt can see the USB but cannot boot (firmware cannot boot from device). Then I tried with a 8GB Kingmax - this time rEFIt doesn't even detect the device. I did manage to reinstall OSX using the 8GB flash drive though. Also to mention - my PC can't boot from neither of them (although the motherboard does support USB-HDD and USB-ZIP booting) nor from any Linux-based distribution. I've tried multiple software like wintoflash, universal USB installer or the USB download tool from Microsoft. Gringo Vermelho
This forum is about installing OS X on PCs, it's not about installing Windows on a Mac. I don't know how you could miss it.
