Rammjet
When you installed from the DVD, right before clicking on the "Install" button, did you first click on the "Customize" button and choose packages for your computer? You have to click on the little arrow to reveal the packages. Choose only AMD or Intel, not both. Choose SSE2 or SSE3, not both.

Bryon
That DVD does not select the SSE3 patch by default. It is not neccesary to click the arrow it only selects the MacOSupd 10.4.5 MacOSupd 10.4.6 and 10.4.3 USB kext from default. The SSE3 patch is uncheched from defualt. That said I have not tired it in VMware only my real Hackintosh. I could not get the MacOSX_10.4.6_GoatsecxDVD.iso to install on my AMD as it would not detect any usb controllers at all so no mouse or keyboard but it worked fine on my Intel box. The cd has these patches from the installer.
