I've been running iAtkos S3 Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on a AsRock G31M-VS2 for a while now

it runs stable and is very compatible. On install disable legacy USB.

Audio runs on HDA but it doesn't work fully (volume control unable to up down volume)

other than that is a perfect hack

regards

The volume control problem is because your CoreServices CPUIDs need patching. It sounds like you're using AMD, so download Marvin's AMD utility (google it) and choose "Create Patcher Package." Select /System/Library to patch, then let it run. When it's finished, it will probably stop responding, so force quit it. Open the AMD.Patch.Folder folder on the desktop, open the current date folder, and copy the Patches folder to the root of the hard drive. Reboot, and at the chameleon screen type "-s" without quotes to boot in single-user mode. When you get to the command prompt, type:

/sbin/mount -uw /
cd /patches
./patcher ./cpuid.txt
reboot

When you reboot, volume control should work.
