Double-Precision with GTX 260

Hi,

 

im Using a hackintosh macosx 10.6.5 retail install. (see Signature)

right now i want to use the full power of the GTX260 including Double-Precision support.

 

Has anyone an Idea, how i can do that? I Know that the GTX 260 has that support (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_200_Series).

 

I tested the OpenCL Speed with "OpenCL2_bench":

OpenCL2_Bench_V025 ; exit;

...... C2D 3GHz = 12 sec vs Nvidia 9600GT = 0,93 sec ......

... time results are not comparable to older version! .....

Now checking if results are valid - please be patient....

:) Validate test passed - GPU results=CPU results :)

And oclinfo sais that there is no Doubleprecision support with my GTX260:

--> so no "cl_khr_fp64"
