tdk1007
Hi! I pieced together my computer... X58A-UD3R Rev2 i7-930 Radeon HD 4870 4GB ram during installation 500 GB drive I'm using Kakewalk 3.0 and cant seem to get very far in the installation process. I get to the step where you swap the kakewalk disc out for Snow Leopard, and the apple logo will appear with the spinning icon, but after about a minute or two the computer screen just goes black. I've tried ##### as well, and get the same problem. The only thing i can think of is that i'm using an upgrade disc for snow leopard, but i've read that it's worked for others. Any suggestions would be very welcomed! tdk1007
I have a functioning computer now. I finally got my retail copy of SL back from my friend, and everything installed smoothly. Thanks for helping out! Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/239901-cant-get-to-install-screen/#findComment-1606772 Share on other sites
