intel will be launching sandy bridge on january 5. supposed to be a hard launch.

 

will socket 1155 mobos be working out of the box or will we have to wait for people to get them working on leopard?

 

i'm planning on getting a Core i7-2600K and one of the mATX boards for a SB build

 

also hoping that the radeon 6000 series will work by then

 

anyone else waiting for sandy bridge?

good to know theres at least one other person interested in building a SB hackintosh -_-

 

microcenter will have them tomorrow, 2700K for $280 and 2500K for $180

 

i'm debating what kinda build to do so i'll have to wait and see. would like to go mATX/ITX but the H67 boards you cant overclock on. i'm also interested in the new xeons, particularly this one:
