I have recently installed 10.6.4 on my PC. Working perfectly with one graphics card. It has never worked with my second graphics card installed (actually I am just removing the power cables from the 2nd card to disable it; liquid cooled).

The computer seems to boot normally with 2 cards installed but then only a black screen appears. I have tried all of the video DVI ports and none are working with both cards powered up.

GTX-285 shows up correctly in system profiler and I believe it has full functionality.

I have been trying to research as much as possible here in this forum and I would never have gotten as far as I have without a few of you geniuses.

I have my device paths for both card slots from gfxutil.

As I understand I need to edit the EFI string? Am I heading in the right direction?

I think there are multiple ways to achieve this and I am confused about the best way to go about this.

I would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

You can also try netkas.org for info on multiple cards.

Try kext.com as well...
