sweepingoar
What is the expert consensus on the iPC distribution? Is it secure/safe to use? Are there better distributions? It seems to be pretty easy to install if your hardware is supported. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/238893-ipc-thoughts/ Share on other sites

Regardless of other considerations, iPC is 10.5.6, which is 2 years old. What's a decent new distribution? I would try to do a retail install, but with hardware as old as mine, I'm not sure that's possible. However I hadn't realized you have such an old laptop. You can read this topic It is an old one, but it is the only one I could find.
