RedBack
The easiest way to install OSX onto a netbook is to use Meklorts NetbookBootMaker. It already has a kernel for the Atom. Restore an Install DVD onto an 8GB USB stick. Install NetbookBootMaker onto the USB stick. Boot from the USB stick. Install SL onto HDD. Boot from USB stick, but run SL from your HDD. Run NetbookInstaller. Also... have a loot at this article if you want to upgrade to 10.6.5: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=197020
neer2005
what does restoring to a flash drive mean? i have the DMG of the 10.6 retail image do i just extract it to the root of my flash drive? nevermind i see what you mean OK so i got the installation part For the GMA 3150 I checked the netbook bootmaker logs and it says that now its supported, so thats good Will I need to install any kexts after the installation?
