subramanyam
Hi Guys, I managed to get OSX running natively after installing in vmware.I used acronis os selector. It boots with -x(ne way to boot without safe mode ??) 1) Also it says no burning device detected though Vmware detected it..(Lite-on DVD-RW SOHW-1653S) 2) My network is not detected though vmware detected it. 3) Sound does not work but i guess i can fix it if either my net or my burning device works// My config: AMD ATHLON 64 3000+(Venice core) ASUS A8N-E(NF4 ) SEAGATE SATA HARDDISK Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23877-vmware-to-native-worked-but-a-few-problemshelp/ Share on other sites
ph33r213
In the VMWare guide, it said to disable networking, that might be the problem, also, if nf4 means nforce 4, you need the forcedeth drivers. that will fix your network. A lot of people don't have sound, you could go out and buy a soundcard that will work, but i'm doing just fine without sound. I have no idea why your dvd-rw won't work though.
