Monkey D. Luffy
Hi, I recently bought an ATI 4550 Gigabyte (Low Profile Version). It has 128mb of DDR3 memory (up to 512mb shared memory, according to the box). Before I had a Asus 4650 (low profile) card and it was working ok with "Flicker" framebuffer and I actually gave that card to my brother. Now that I bought a ATI 4550, I'm wondering why I can't find the ATI4500Controller.kext. Was it removed in 10.6.5? I never kept track of this kext in 10.6.2, 10.6.3, 10.6.4 since I was using ATI4600Controller from my old video card. Anybody knows what update took off the ATI4500Controller.kext? I just need to know so I could download the update combo of those old updates and extract it with pacifist. I tried injecting my Device id (9540) to ATI4600Controller and ATIRadeonX2000.kext to no avail. Thanks!
