I am running an asus notebook, with an i5 450M, Nvidia 310M, 4 gb ram, Atheros network card. I first install the iAtkos s3 v2 at 10.6.3 with the needed kexts then i start the update, goes good till the near end and it gives me the error, no text dump on screen, so i cant know what causes the problem and it also ruins the whole install, so i have to reinstall the whole OS again, this has happened twice, pelase help!! :(

Don't use the MacPro3,1 model identifier on a laptop (re: your screenshot). Use an appropriate MacBook model identifier.

Try deleting all non-essential non-apple kernel extensions before updating, such as patched network drivers, VoodooHDA, sleepenabler, etc. If it's not required for your Hackintosh to boot to the desktop, get it out of the way.

If you need to use a patched kernel on your hardware, make sure it's renamed so that it doesn't get overwritten by the updater. You can rename the kernel and then set that name under 'kernel' in your com.apple.Boot.plist.
