trinfinate
hello every one, i have intel quad core 2.6ghz, xfx 630i mobo( everest diagnostic software identifies it as an msi mobo), 4gb mem, intel ssd hd, and a visiontek ati radeon 3870 hd x2 gfx card.....every time i pop in the the iatkos s3 v2 dvd it tell me to press any key to start installation or press f8 to choose to boot from other drives or partitions like windows or the windows 7 reserve partition. i press any key to continue installation and the chameleon bootloader loads the dvd..the apple grey screen appears with the rotating wheel...then like 2 minutes later a circle with a dash in the middle appears on top of the apple, while the ratating wheel keeps spinning on the botom of the apple.....does these mean i cant install mac on my hardware?.. thank you for ur time... Z is my name
I have tried a few boot programs and they all do the same for me on all 3 of my PCs. Even after looking in the BIOS and setting it many ways, going with SATA then IDE drives, going for AMD then Intel PCs, using retail and burnt OS discs it is always the same :S
tnok3
so wut u guys think?....is it useless to keep trying or wut else could i du? This happened to me on a disc I had previously installed from on the same laptop a couple of times, so I just burnt a new disc and It worked fine. zicoos
Have you enabled ACPI and AHCI storage mode in your bios? Google information on how to set up your BIOS for your specific mainboard in order to boot the installation/OS X.
