richcamp
I installed 10.6.3 on my Asus 1001p netbook, it runs well besides lacking wifi, I did the ktexts and all that but I cannot get it to boot form the HDD. I've installed the netbook installer on the netbook HD and when I turn it on, I can get the Apple logo but no spinning wheel. How do I get it to startup without the need for the USB!? also, side note I cannot get wifi to work, I've found a ton of links to the driver but they are dead... any insight? westwaerts
should be able to hit F8 on bootup and then type -v if you use chameleon as bootloader, hit any button to stop it from "loading", type -v and hit enter. I've also got a 1001P, but only found a method to install 10.5.6. From this forum, someone has shared a solution to solve the problem of display which based on 10.6. Would you mind to share which version and method to install 10.6.3 in your 1001p? Wait for your prompt reply. Thanks a lot!
