colnthefox
I have the Belkin N 150 USB adaptor, which I've installed on my Hack in the past with no problems at all. However, this time round, I've been trying to get it working for days. I've discovered it will work in safe boot (it will detect wireless networks but won't allow me to go online as safe mode stops this) but will not work when I boot up normally. My guess is that it's something to do with clearing caches - I've only managed to clear extension caches through OSx Tools so far since the command lines I've used haven't worked eg kextcache -k /system/library/extensions/ The chipset for the adaptor is a Ralink 2870 Can someone PLEASE help?! colnthefox
I managed to connect to the net in Safe Mode and I've started downloading and installing updates. However, after the update, it said that the RT2870UsbWirelessDriver.kext is not working and can't be used, which it has said when I boot up normally before. I can obviously connect to the internet, just not in normal mode.
