dawiinci Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 I used VoodooHDA but it occasionally KP when booting up (right after the microphone was initialized). In The Kernel Panics wasn’t anything about voodooHDA.kext, but what else could it be. Since I deleted it it didn’t crash anymore. So I tried to find an other driver. But I only found one which needed to modify DSDT and this is not what I want to do. I only need stereo output. Is there a driver for this chipset (ALC883)?
