DarkGrimm
Hello, I have recently acquired a .ISO image of Kalyway 10.5.2 to install on my Dell Inspiron E1505. I have read the Wiki for OSx86, and they recommend this specific image for 10.5.2. Along with this .ISO, I also got a nice little kext file called "Natit.kext" that I am apparently supposed to add to the .ISO image before burning to a DVD. Now, I have TransMac, so I am wondering if that will help me at all? Thanks, John
dothacker
you can install Natit.kext after you install kalyway. just dont choose any Video drivers when you install 10.5.2. when it boots up and you're in the system, install natit.kext using kext helper. Wow, thanks! Well, do I need to type something like "-f" to boot it without video drivers?
dothacker
if it doesn't have video drivers, there are only two things that will happen... either you will see your graphics in 1024x768, or no graphics at all. 50/50 chance, right? nah, you'll most likely get graphics but in 1024x768 mode.
