RobM
Question, Why do the OS X DVDs not work with Toshiba machines? I have tried various ones, and non work. The only method I have found that works is copying the disk image to the partition, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23774-question/ Share on other sites

ampTK
You aren't giving us any information to work. First check your hardware on the Hardware Compatibility Lists (HCL) on the wiki to if it works (click OSx86prject on the to right) If you still have doubts, post what version of OS X, what patches and hardware information. at paches and hardware information. Also you may want to wait until the WWDC thing cools down, right nowthat's what is in everybodys attention Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23774-question/#findComment-157562 Share on other sites
RobM
Because that info is not needed. I have installed OS X on my machine before, it is still on there. I have 10.4.1. It was a disk image that I used. But just to make you happy, it is a Toshiba M45. I tired installing OS X with a DVD, and it gave some error. I know it is not just my machine that does it. I remember on an older forum that got shut down, Toshiba users had problems with the OS X DVD. I am asking if anyone knows of this problem, and if there is a way to fix it.
