Logan Lehman
Hey guys I currently have my Dell Inspiron Desktop 530 fully working with iAtkos s3v2 and everything is running very smoothly, besides the fact that I am stuck on integrated graphics. I currently have two graphic cards sitting here, a MSI n8400GS 256mb DDR2 (Geforce 8400GT counterpart I believe), and I high end card I used from my windows set-up, a ATI Radeon HD4830. Which graphic card would be the easiest to install with QE/CI, or without? I really just want to be off of this 1024x768 B.S. Ive seen success stories for both, and I have tried everything that I can find for both cards. Okay, so I got the 8400GS working on my resolution, the text is a little too sharp and hard to read, any way to fix that? As well QE/CI is not working, does anyone have any suggestions? Logan Lehman
hi - see my post in Nvidia 7900 GTO - QE / CI? , my gforce go 7400 works perfect with this option. cu 2fredi I have tried many Kext installations and such, but it seems to be that the EFI string is what got it working as far as it is, do you happen to have any ideas for sticking with the EFI string, yet being able to enable QE/CI? David23
Try to install asere as bootloader and remove all injectors like nvinject, nvenabler ecc. put graphics enabler in com.apple.boot.plist with lizard, extract video rom with gpu-z from windows, rename it into 10de_XXXX.rom xxxx, is your id (you see it into the system profiler) and put it into extra. Remove all efistrings if you used it.

Am I able to install a new bootloader without having to reinstall my entire system?
2fredi
I have the iAtkos 10.6.3 - i think, it is the best image to run osx on non mac-systems. by the way, how often u had install osx to kill your problem - risk a last attempt. u´ll be happy - ;-) 2fredi
