The darwin bootloader wont load xp otherwise i wouldnt need grub. Can someone please give me a hand here? Thanks in advance!! troisd Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 You can always use a Live Linux CD with install to hdd option. Those usually allows for easy grub installations without actually installing Linux. I personally used DreamLinux distro which is just a 3D/Imaging/Media focused Linux. thrunner Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 If you are just looking for a free boot loader that is compatible, why not try: Free Partition Manager - SPFDisk, SPFdisk is a free dos-based partition manager I find it to be more compatible than Acronis (which is not free).
