Hello everyone,

I was wondering who could help me. I've tried searching these forums and downloaded plus installed some stuff but it just won't allow me to see the native res and is stuck at 1024x768. I need 1600x900 ASAP as I want to get into web design.

I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction? I have tried to alter the boot file but I don't know where to put the string. I have tried in various places with no success...

Mine looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

<key>Kernel</key>

<string>mach_kernel</string>

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string></string>

<key>Boot Graphics</key>

<string>Yes</string>

<key>Quiet Boot</key>

<string>No</string>

<key>Timeout</key>

<string>5</string>

</dict>

</plist>

So yeah, if anyone here could help me and get it sorted I would be over the moon. It's the last thing I need to get working and then I am done with a fully working Hackintosh! :)

Thanks in advanced for any replies.

Before you commit to a "GraphicsMode=1600x900" in the boot.plist as you boot press f8 and enter it to see if it works then add it in if you add it and it causes the white or blue screen your kind of stuck to single user mode to fix it if you enter it as a boot prompt and it fails just reboot and try something else. I would put it right under

<key>Boot Graphics</key>

<string>Yes</string>

I will give it a go. Thank-you.

So all I need to type in is "GraphicsMode=1600x900" without the speech marks or with them?
