Cr0n_J0b
I'm running a Radeon 9800PRO with the Callisto (latest) and the Patch for his (Callisto) QE/CI, so they both show supported. I haven't run the AGPGart yet since I'm not sure whcih one to run (that's another thread), but I'm wondering if anyone has seen this mounse thing before and if it's related to the video. when I scroll my mouse wheel while it's over a page I get these remnants in the page like trails. Nothing serious here, but if I can fix It I'd like to. thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23741-mouse-artifacts-when-scrolling/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
Yes, it is graphics related. It is termed "artifacts" or "mouse tearing". Here is what one poster said: to reduce mouse tearing when QE and CI are enabled, use this link http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...epose&st=40 but use page 3's solution, as it's free, and seem to work just as well Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23741-mouse-artifacts-when-scrolling/#findComment-157485 Share on other sites
Cr0n_J0b
Thanks. So I gather that this is a bug in the ATI drivers that can only be fixed with a work around like this. I applied the files and the tearing has stopped, but the mouse is sort of flashing now and doesn't look quite stable. I'm guessing that this is as good as it gets right? thanks again.
