The Finale of Seem
It's official! Much in the way that the Quadro 4800 (I believe) enabled GTX 285 support before the Mac 285 landed, the drivers for this card should be able to fully support the GTX 480 (and others, presumably)! I'm also hoping that it can be made to run the GTX 580 as well, which is just a revised 480. What do you guys think? Excited to get real acceleration out of those GTX 400s? There is 580's device id in NVDAGF100HAL.kext. But, GTX580 not only revised 480, it has new GF112 chip instead of GF100 used on GTX480. As I remember someone already tried GTX580 on tonymacx86.com forum (or here) with new Quadro 4000 drivers without success.

True, but the GTX 460 is the GF104 chip, and people have had some success with those. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that it happens after more people get a chance to pound on the drivers a bit.
