Greggen
Hi! First off, without this forum I would never have come as far as I have on my "Hack". Thanks everyone! Ok, so here is the thing. My hack works GREAT in every kind of way except one, the CMOS still gets reseted/corrupted occasionally when putting the computer to sleep (might have happened when reseting or shutting down as well). I've made my own DSDT following all kinds of guides here and there and the RTC-fix did help and the frequency of the CMOS-errors isn't anywhere near as high as it was before, but it still happens, and it bugs me. I would appreciate ANY kind of help and willing to try all kinds of tips (please, dont tell me to use a kext, want to minimize them ). My setup is: P5QL-Pro Core2Quad Q9400 4GB RAM ATI 5850HD (had a GTX260 before and still the same problems) Running 10.6.5 Vanilla Some BIOS-settings that might be relevant: Suspend Mode: S3 Only ACPI 2.0: Enabled ACPI APCI Support: Enabled Kexts: S/L/E Marionez patched AppleHDA.kext Marionez AttansicL1eEthernet.kext E/E FakeSMC.kext Attaching my DSDT dsdt.aml.zip Thanks for any help!
