Larx
Good news. I managed to run Ati Radeon 2400 at a resolution of 1024x768 on the internal monitor. Fujitsu Siemens PI2550 Core 2 Duo T8100 2.10 GHz Snow Leopard 10.6.5 Details about the process through a couple of hours. Testing in progress! Larx
Unbelievable! I installed iATKOS S3 ver.2 Asere 1.1.9 wint chameleon2 RC4 with graphic enabler. After completed installation restart of course, in safe mode -x mode. I deleted all ATI Radeon kexts except: ATI2400Controller.kext, ATIFramebuffer.kext and ATISupport.kext. Restart and boot in normal mode. No hardware acceleration , but the good thing is internal monitor works ! I am a beginner and this is my second hackitosh, but if this is something that can help on this, hm .... It would be great to have a Ati Radeon 2400 fully functional. Thank you. Here is the picture. A lot of people looking solution for this type of ATI Radeon! Hm! Here is a good base to continue to explore, i hope ! dothacker
You're welcome. I just dont want people to get their hopes up. I, too, am an owner of Radeon 2400 Pro (94c3). It works perfect in Leopard, but not in SL. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237224-ati-radeon-2400-hd-works/#findComment-1585156 Share on other sites
