I just wanted to stop in and let you guys know that I'm beta testing the new 10.6.6 update and that I was able to install it on my hackintosh without any issues. I was hoping that it was going to include the new App Store, but that does not appear to be included in this build. Here is my hardware:

Intel D945GTP Motherboard

Intel Pentium D 3.0 Ghz Processor

Integrated sound

Nvidia 8800 GT 1024 MB GDDR3 Video Card

Intel Pro/100 VE Network Card

2 GB DDR2 800 RAM

Hi.

I am interesting which kernel You use ?

I use myself Pcj XNU 1.3 kernel (source base is 10.4) with 10.6.4 usb driver.

Chameleon is 629v1 and FakeSMC is 2.7.2. I have made dsdt.aml and DSDT.dsl by DSDT Editor.

10.6.5 works extremely well.

I do not use sleep in this time, it works in 10.6.2. What is Your's solution ?

I'm using quoopo 10.3.0 right now. It's the only one that I've tried and I've had no problems. I will mention that I did back up my USB kext files because I lost USB when I upgraded to 10.6.5 earlier in the week. I don't use sleep on this computer at all, so it's never been an issue with upgrading.

In answer to the post earlier, I am a member of the Apple Developer Program, so I get access to all the Beta's for OSX. I haven't tried one in a while, so I thought I'd give it a go. I am looking forward to the release that includes the App store.

Thanks for Your's answer.

Now I have 10.5 legacy kernel with Chameleon 643 + FakeSMC 2.7.2 + updated 10.6.5 and everything works well except sleep. I have self made dsdt.aml and DSDT.dsl.

5 years old machine works quite well with a little bit outdated Pentium D 945. I start with Celeron 355 and osx was 10.4.3 made by maxxum.

Still going strong. :)
