mjstallion
I have a Chinese MSI Wind U100 clone, that uses a N270 and a GMA950, so it doesn't appear like it would have a problem running SL. After booting up my Chameleon DVD, I put the Snow Leopard Retail DVD in and then it hangs at the Gray Apple screen. I then ran Boot Verbose, and this is where it hangs: Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237158-retail-dvd-installation-hangs-at-gray-apple-logo/ Share on other sites
Gringo Vermelho
There is a forum out there somewhere that specializes in running OS X on the MSI Wind. They should have several pre-made boot CDs for download that will work with yours. Google MSI Wind Hackintosh or something. mjstallion
I tried those and get the same errors. The problem is, this laptop isn't a Wind, it's just similar, though most 10" netbooks are similar. I just need help in knowing what is causing this kernel panic, which is occuring before I'm even able to install.
