nVidia Geforce 9600 GSO 768MB

I am new to osx86 after some trial and error for a couple of month I finally installed osx 10.5.6 on my pc using iPC 10.5.6

 

I have a nVidia Geforce 9600 GSO 768MB graphics card. has any one gotten this card to work??? if so can you help me?

 

are the any kext for this card I can download I have searched every were with no success. any help is appreciated

 

Problems I am having.

I cannot play any movies under osx with vlc player I get a black screen the whole time and with quick time I get a white screen..

 

Some webpages not all I cannot scroll down, it scrolls down but the words wont change I have to highlight to "REFRESH" page.

 

I have tried doing a custom GFX thing picking 768MB and DVI|DVI but when I try to save it. I get that the file is not found, no such file... any ideas?

Seems u will have to create you graphics string maually

download GPU-Z and nibitor (windows). With GPU-Z u dload ur graphics Card bios.

Nibitor dload the bios.bin file u just created to change it to .rom file.

next dload NVCAP Maker (OSX) and load the new graphic.rom and there u will get the NVCAP to add instead.

seems like i got the string to save through osx86 tools (had the folder named wrong lol) now I still cant watch any of my movies every thing seems to be working better than before now my its using the resulution of my monitor 1600*900 so thats good .... but like i said the movie part sucks can any one help me with this

Your card is natively supported by OS X. Install the latest Chameleon RC5 with pref pane, enable "Graphics Enable" and you are good to go.
