Guest MiloST
Hi everyone! I've tried to install OS X for over 3 months now and i've tried out every possible way and none have succeeded. I'm running on a Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H Intel i7 870 4 GB DDR3 HIS Radeon 5770 GDDR5 320 GB HD Optical drive is TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653L I've been into BIOS and made all of the neccessary changes and tried out every ##### version, EmpireEFI even Boot-123. Tested with iAtkos S3,iAtkos 7, Jas 10.4.8, Retail OS X Snow Leopard ( just spins around in the DVD-Rom and stops loading, not even with Chameleon ) Tried iPC it only works when i install with VirtualBox not any other way. I also tried all of the above with VMware, UNSUCCESSFUL! The furthest i've got is that the dvd booted up and i saw the grey apple screen then it restarts. So far iPC has been the only copy that i have succeded in installing and it only worked on VirtualBox. I tried the DVD on my laptop and it had no issues booting up!!!! I really need this to work guys i've got a assingment to do and i don't want to pay 1000 dollars for it.. ------ I finally got the install working an hour or two after i posted this topic.. but unfortunatly the do not boot up after install is finished. The first install was with the JaS 10.4.8 SSE2 SSE3 it installs correctly but when booting up i get the you need to restart this computer screen ( the apple screen ). Then i tried with iPC and it also installed but when booting up it gets to the grey apple logo screen and restarts the comp.. I used the -v busratio=22 flags to be able to install otherwise it wouldnt work as the previous times.. so now does anyone know why the installs wont boot? And by the way after i installed mac os x my windows install won't boot AT ALL! im writing this from my laptop... i posted that before and got no response and since i'm in urgent need of assistance i figured i would bring all the back history with this new post.. Anyone who knows how i can getmy install to work? i keep getting the your computer needs to restart screen with all the languages.. Some type of kernel panic... dothacker
First of all: This is a desktop, correct? so why are you trying to install VoodooBattery.kext? walk me through to what kexts you are choosing. Try it on iATKOS S3 V2 first (i'm more familiar with this one). Your i7 can support snow leopard so try it first.
Guest MiloST
To be honest i was messing around with the kexts to see if anything would change.. my iAtkos S3 disc won't boot up i don'tknow why.. the iAtkos v7 didn't work either i tried the OS X 10.6.1 - 10.6.2 SSE2 SSE3 by Hazard and it installs fine i only choose to install the bootloader but it fails at boot up even if i input flags.. i tried out the OS X Universal Snow Leopard iso but that wont even boot up to install even with the busratio=22 flag or any other for that matter.. i'm thinking about throwing my PC off a cliff..
