I may be a little late but. The way I did it was as follow:

1. Copy your extentions folder and save it somewhere else [ nice if you are dual booting and have macdrive installed].

2. Open disk utility and leave it open, open the 10.5.8 ideneb tool as well, leave them open then run then combo update.

3. Replace your extentions folder with the one you saved in step 1. Replace all .

4. Use the 10.5.8 tool to install the voodoo 9.5.0 kernel then use disk utility to repair your permissions and restart.

You have created a horrifying, twisted monster. The people of the village are waiting outside your castle, wielding torches and pitchforks.

You haven't really updated if you're using the whole extensions folder from a previous version + a 9.5.0 kernel.

I can't think of any reason to use the Voodoo 9.5.0 kernel on 10.5.8. There's a perfectly fine 9.8.0 Voodoo "Qoopz" kernel available.

Did you look at the pic, what is a better update with everything that work?

I saw the pic, it doesn't mean anything. It's what you did that matters.

I'm sure I could make it crash in a matter of seconds :D

Whatever, if you're happy with it then fine. But you better believe it's only a matter of time before it turns against you like Frankensteins Monster.

Will let you know when it does
