Conroe Mac Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Do you think that Apple will support these chipsets (perhaps on the MacBook Pro or Imac?) Most of the Conroe boards out there are going to use this chipset, will Apple look to Intel to build motherboards with this chipset? bofors Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 I think it is likely on the iMac and possibly a new mid-tower/media Mac, but not exactly on the MacBook Pro. The P965, ICH8 and Conroe are desktop components, the PM965, ICH8-M and Merom are for laptops.
