You mean remap the modifier keys?

Go to System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard -> Modifier Keys

control (^ symbol) is the familiar control key, leftmost on the bottom row (asumming a usual american kbd).

Command, with the weird cursive capital G looking thing, is the same as your windows key, with the flag logo, right next to the control key. If you have an older keyboard, you might not have this, but then again I couldn't install with my kbd plugged into a ps/2 port so thats not likely.

option, with the greek lambda looking symbol, is the alt key.

The up arrow is shift

Hope this helps. Go to system prefs, hit keyboard & mouse, and click the keyboard shortcuts tab at the top for all the kbd shortcuts built into os x. You can hover over any of the shortcuts to see them written out (ie it says shift control 3 instead of up-arrow ^ 3)
