CPU LED - ASUS Motherboard

I have a ASUS P7P55D-E Pro ATX Intel Motherboard running an Intel Core i7-860 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor along with all other components as listed on this lifehacker tutorial: http://lifehacker.com/5672051/how-to-build...ight-easy-steps

I've never assembled a computer before so I'm new to this, however I'm fairly tech savvy. I'm running into an issue with how I've assembled my hardware to where I get a solid Red LED on the motherboard under the CPU. I've followed every step to the T and am still unable to boot my hackintosh.

Any insight on this issue would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

i dont meet your point ?

have you assembled your computer ?

install a Operating System, like OSX is another story.

the LED is just to see if the motherboard is powered, afaik.

Sorry for any inconvenience, I only had part of the CPU powered- removed the other port cover to expose the other side of the outlet and now i'm officially running OS X on my hackintosh.

Thanks for the response anyway!
