marson
Hi everybody I have Toshiba A500-1G2 laptop and after many trials and errors I finally installed Snow leopard with the vanilla kernel, but one more think I can't solve. In my laptop I have an Realtek RTL8191SE whih are not working and due to my knowledge there is no way to run it. So I want to replace original Realtek with a new one that will be supported in snow leopard. What kind of miniPCI wi-fi card can I use? In addition the original wifi works in N standard so I think the new one must also support the N standard. Below is my full spec of this Toshiba laptop: Toshiba Satellite A500-1G2 Intel® Core™ i5-430M processor 4 GB of DDR3 RAM 500 GB Fujitsu HDD GeForce 310M Graphics Card Realtek ALC 889A Realtek 8111/8169 Controller Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC Chicony 1,3 MPix WebCam P.S except wi-fi all otheer stuff works OK and this laptop could be a good replacement for macBook especially after 10.6.4 update wchih enables Core i5 processors support natively Best Regards Marek Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/236386-what-wi-fi-card-will-be-working-with-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
