crystalin
Hello guys. FIrst, I'm french so, the english won' t be very good sometimes. Sorry :S Second, I know I'm a beginner and my questions are boring but, please, it will not take you long to answer. 2 Years Ago, I wanted to install Osx on my Pc : ACER 7720G, but unfortunately, a driver, the driver of my wireless card, wasn't working. 1 Year Ago, I came back to see if this driver was working, and the answer was No! (it wasn't stable at all) Today, I come back again, to see the same thing. so, i've some questions for you, who know the hackintosh perfectly : - My wireless card is the Intel PRO/3945 ABG. I know that a team was working on the driver, have they succeeded ? - I'll show you my config . Does someone can give me a list of all the OSX distributions ? And say me the best for my PC ? (just the list is already very well ) ACER 7720G - Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 - nVidia Geforce 8600M GT - Ethernet : Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet - Wireless : Intel PRO/3945 ABG - Optiarc BD-ROM BC5500A - Realtek ALC268 Last time I've tried a lot of distributions, and I think iPc works good. graphic card OK ethernet OK (after a lot of manipulations with terminal) Wireless BAD DVD : Ok Audio : I think the Apple sounds work but I didn't hear the internet sound, or video, music... I've finished, I thank you in advance for your future answers!
3.14r2
You can check the status there. AFAIK it is not 100% yet (beta). The best option would be to change the card to a compatible one. List of possible candidates see here. You can buy a used one for cheap on local ebay site (or any similar). It wont cost you much. Does someone can give me a list of all the OSX distributionsIt could be difficult - there are to many. IMHO you should try to install from a retail OS X DVD. Hardware looks compatible. It would be the best option.
crystalin
Well, thanks for your quick answer . When you write : "Retail OS X DVD", are you talking about an official os x dvd, with no supplemental drivers included ? What's the big difference with an other one like iAtkos S3 v2 (i've download it) ? And for the wifi, no wep or wpa support, and it's a too important thing. I think i'll buy a new card .
