ErezS
Hello, I'm new and looking for help regarding my installation. I'm using Dell Inspiron 1520 , dual boot OSX and windows 7. Graphic card is nvidia 8400. I have just 2 issues at the moment which is quite good as I understand people have a lot of problems with drivers. After I ran ##### everything worked out of the box except shutdown restart and sleep. Whenever I choose restart or shutdown , the OS does closes but then It's hangs on the black screen and do nothing. I understood from various results in google that it's a result of bad graphics driver. I also understood that if you can see Youtube video with good rate and change the resolution it's means that you have a good graphics driver and everything is ok. I tried to install these kexts: http://www.kexts.com/view/170-videocards_n...10.6_86-64.html Using kext helper and then kext utility in order to fix the permissions as I understand that it's needed in order for it to work. Nothing worked and It's still freezes in the black screen. I'm hoping there is a solution for this problem and would like some help regarding this issue as I'm quite new to Apple. Another problem which is less significant is that the OS recognizes the computer as Mac Pro and therefore I don't have a battery indicator. Is there any way to change that to Macbook air or something like that in order to have a battery indicator? Thanks Erez
