Astarael
If you want anyone to help you, give good specs, I mean: 1. exact model 2. processor (no clock speed! just family and number, for example Intel Core2Duo T7200) 3. graphics card 4. mainboard chipset 5. IDE/SATA controller 6. ethernet card WITH CHIPSET 7. wifi card WITH CHIPSET You can get all these by typing sudo lspci in ubuntu or other linux. You should be able to find these info in everest with no problem as well.

airush
Hi, I have successfully installed iAtkos v7 (10.5.8) Leopard, on acer D255E with upgrade to wifi card from ebay think it was $6. I have tried many installs, to try and install Snow Leopard with no luck and no way of updating to SL from current. So I'm happy with Leopard for now, until someone produces a Lion install for the Acer D225E I'll Stick with this version.

Hi, Would be really great if you could give some more details (wich kernel, driver...) on how you manage to make your d255e fully fonctionnal. (as there is still no guide and any update in the Compatibility chart List) I'm poorly still stuck with the 800x600 resolution. Many thanks if you can
