heythere,

at first sorry for my bad english :) .

so, about 2 weeks ago i have downloaded iATKOS v7 and i tried to install it but at booting from cd - still waiting for root device.. ok ..

now i have downloaded iPC and i tried to install it, i was feeling happy because it seems to work but it was not.

after the installation, the computer is rebooting and it stucks here:

it says:

"Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 9.5.0: Sat Dec 6 19:39:54 IST 2008; Voodoo;Release 1.0: xnu_1228.7.508/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_1386"

here is a screenshot:

after hours of google, i still dont know what i can do to fix this.

another problem, if i restart now the boot stucks at the white screen with the gray apple logo in the middle. if i boot with -v there is just a black screen where it stucks, no text.

pleaaseeee helm mee :)

thank you !

I take it you have not installed anything other than the OS?

In which case I would try to run the bootloader again. When you get to the screen after you chose the language, use the tool bar along the top and go to the Disk utility.

If you are loading on to the Hard drive as the only OS then you can just chose the disk and then select "erase" and erase all the files on the disk. I would do it acouple of times, seems to delete down to 3 files first time round and then down to 2 files next time.....

Then do your re-install again, this time don't select any thing from the kenals and see if you can getit to boot further that way.

Worked for me , now I am only stuck on not network connection!

John

p.s. must tell you I am completely new to this so what I am saying to do might be completely wrong for you....!
