Alfabl0s Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Hi, I've had my BIOS modded months ago and I successfully installed SL 10.6 by just booting from my USB pendrive. Later, I wanted to get rid of it and went back to Ubuntu. Now I'd like to get back to SL; I downloaded 10.6.3 and did exaxtly the same thing as months ago... NOT WORKING! Here's a screenshot of my kernel panic! What can I do? I tried to install 10.6.3 and 10.6.0 from iatkos to mt external USB HD but the result is (for 10.6) I first get a message reporting tha the installation could not copy some files to /volumes/don'trememberwhat; if I try to restart anyway after installing a bootloader I get to the welcome presentatione but "before I begin" I have to PLUG a KEYBOARD (=the one I have is not recognized). If I try to install it rebooting and booting from USB (where I restored the installation image) I get the usual circle but then just a dark gray printout with the black cursor top left, which I can't move... and freezes like this.
