brown2k1 Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Hi, I'm using iatkos s3 (snow leopard 10.6.3) on my fujitsu amilo 1505. I cannot install retail DVD, i got a kernel panic trying to load firewire kext (O2 micro FW), so i'm using iatkos s3 with mach_pcj kernel. I bought a brand new broadcom 4311 on ebay, but when i installed it on my laptop it is not detected. The id of the card is 4311 I can list the card using lspci or some other pci tools, but on system profile there no trace of the wireless card. I tought the card should be detect oob, with no extra job. BTW, the wireless button on the laptop is on, hehe. Can anyone helpme? OG_LOC_08 Posted November 9, 2010 Share Posted November 9, 2010 I have the same problem. I had a AR5BXB63 that did not work then got a AR5BXB92 that still did not work. THE BCM4311 wont even pop up in SnowLeopard. I have a Acer Aspire 4720z every thing work expect wireless. Please help us out. lol This mights help out.
